Essential Experience Required

• CSCS (managers level)
• SMSTS
• First Aid (3 day min)
• Asbestos Awareness
• Hot Works
• Good Microsoft skills particularly in excel and word
• Full UK driving license

Site Manager Responsibilities

• Proactive and effective forward planning skills
• Co-ordinating sub-contractors to ensure high quality of work and efficiency
• Ensuring company HS&E, companies policy’s and quality of works and implanted and adhered to at all times
• Build and maintain good relations with staff, clients and subcontractors
• Make sure projects run within budget
• Able to maintain and keep record of all relevant paperwork
• Must be able to chair weekly site meetings
• Supervision and co-ordination of on-site staff, subcontractors, plant and materials
• Comply with health & safety and sign of relevant permits daily

We are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to deliver Fit Out / Refurb projects nationwide, the jobs vary in value. The right candidate must be capable of running projects valued between £100K - £3M.

Job description

• 1-2 years minimum experience
• Proven industry knowledge in Shop fitting
• Able to work on excel with good use of formulas and spreadsheets
• On & off site measuring experience
• Ability to manage a number of projects at differing stages of a process
• Generate tenders with PM Team
• Breakdown drawings into work packages
• Attend Meetings with Client and Team
• Microsoft Office experience particularly Excel
• Prepare, negotiate and analyse costs for tenders and contractors
• Prepare BoQ
• Allocate work to sub contractors and prepare orders
• Value completed work and report to Commercial Lead
• Conduct site visits and review works and drawings
• Good knowledge of Health & Safety on site
• Flexible toward changing situations

• 2-3 years min experience in Shopfitting is a strong advantage
• Fit out experience

• High level of organisation
• Experience with costing documents and budgets
• Capability to prepare and professionally present commercial comparisons

• Chair Handover meeting with PM Team and QS

• Good knowledge of Health & Safety requirements on site
